Retroreflective Sign Vinyl — Advertising Grade, Plotter Ready
Retroreflective vinyl bounces light directly back toward its source — headlights at night, camera flashes, hi-vis inspection lights. The technology relies on microscopic glass beads embedded in the film surface that act as tiny mirrors, which is why reflective vinyl looks bright white or silver in normal daylight but glows intensely under direct light.
This is advertising grade retroreflective vinyl — the entry-level specification for commercial signage such as real estate boards, site safety signs, trailer lettering, and wayfinding in low-traffic areas. It is not certified to AS/NZS 1906.4 (the Australian standard for road-traffic signs and PPE), so it is not suitable for regulatory road signs, emergency vehicles, or safety garments requiring compliance certification. For those applications, engineering grade or Type I/II certified film is required.
At 620 mm wide, it runs cleanly on standard 600 mm Roland, Graphtec, and USCutter plotters with the material edge guide set for the actual roll width. Cuts with a standard 45-degree blade at 80–100 g force — no blade upgrade needed.
