How do you open a snap frame to change the poster?

Press inward on one side of the frame with your thumb — the edge pops open. Work around all four sides. Lift the clear cover sheet, remove the old print, insert the new one face-up, replace the cover, and snap each side closed. The whole process takes under 30 seconds.

Can snap frames be mounted in both portrait and landscape orientation?

Yes — the mounting holes in the frame back work in both orientations. Mark your wall for the correct hole positions, insert the wall anchors supplied, hang the frame, and it will sit level in whichever orientation you choose.

Are snap frames suitable for outdoor use?

Standard snap frames are designed for indoor use. The anodised aluminium profile is weather-resistant, but the PVC glazing will yellow and become brittle in prolonged direct sun. For outdoor or shopfront window displays exposed to direct weather, use a frame with UV-stabilised polycarbonate glazing.

Which snap frame size is most popular for retail point-of-sale?

A3 is the most common retail POS and hospitality size — it fits standard DL and A4 menus with a border, and is large enough to be readable from 2–3 metres. A4 is popular for counter displays. A2 works well for window-facing promotional posters and in-store feature displays.

Aluminium Snap Frames — Front-Loading Poster Displays for Retail and Signage

Snap frames let you change displayed posters, menus, or point-of-sale material in seconds without removing the frame from the wall. All four sides hinge open with finger pressure, the old print slides out, the new one slides in, and the sides snap closed. No tools. No screws. No damage to the print.

The silver anodised aluminium profile gives a clean, professional edge that suits most retail interiors, real estate office windows, hospitality venues, and exhibition spaces. Wall mounting hardware is included — the frames hang in either portrait or landscape orientation from the same mounting holes.
