Glitter HTV: Choosing the Right Colour and Application Settings
Glitter heat transfer vinyl adds a sparkle effect to custom garments that no other HTV finish can replicate. The metallic glitter particles are suspended in a polyurethane carrier — the result is a durable, wash-resistant transfer with genuine light-scattering sparkle, not a printed metallic pattern.
Our range covers 30+ colours including standard metallics (silver, gold, rose gold), neons, holographics, and seasonal colours. Each colour is a discrete SKU — select the colour you want from the dropdown. All are 500mm wide and sold by the metre.
Glitter HTV Application Settings
| Parameter | Setting |
|---|---|
| Temperature | 150–160°C |
| Time | 15–20 seconds |
| Pressure | Medium–firm |
| Peel | Warm peel (peel carrier while still warm) |
| Fabric compatibility | 100% cotton, cotton/polyester blends, polyester |
| Width | 500mm (sold per metre) |
| Wash care | Inside out, cold wash, no tumble dry |
Unlike standard HTV, glitter vinyl should be peeled warm (not cold or hot). Waiting until fully cold can cause the glitter surface to pull away from the garment; peeling too hot may stretch the carrier. Aim for 5–8 seconds after press before peeling.

“@type”: “Answer”,

“@type”: “Answer”,
