The 40 × 50 cm platen is one size up from the common 38 × 38 cm entry-level press, giving you room to press full adult t-shirt fronts, back panels, and oversized transfers without repositioning the garment mid-press. Clamshell design means the upper platen lifts vertically on a hinge — straightforward to operate, compact footprint, and well-suited for production runs where you are pressing the same position repeatedly.

The digital controller gives you precise time (0–999 seconds), temperature (0–230°C), and pressure adjustments. Even heat distribution across the full 40 × 50 cm surface is important for sublimation work where cold spots cause washed-out colour — this press uses an aluminium platen with embedded heating elements for consistent surface temperature.

Compatible transfers: HTV, sublimation (garments and rigid substrates), DTF, screen-printed transfers, and rhinestone heat-set. For sublimation on rigid items such as tiles, mugs, and caps you will need a mug press or a dedicated wrap attachment rather than a flat platen press.
