Why Do You Need HTV Application Tape?
Standard "Cut-Only" vinyl comes with its own sticky carrier sheet. Printable HTV does not. After printing and cutting your design, you are left with a thin, flimsy sheet of vinyl that is impossible to move by hand without stretching or ruining it.
HTV Application Tape (also called a Transfer Mask) solves this problem. It acts as a temporary carrier sheet. You squeegee it over your weeded design, lift the design off the original backing, and place it onto the t-shirt for pressing.
Key Features of Our Tape:
- Heat Resistant: Unlike standard sign application tape (which can melt), this is designed to withstand the high temperatures of a heat press (150°C+) without leaving residue.
- High Tack Adhesive: Strong enough to lift the printed vinyl off the slick backing paper, but releases easily after pressing.
- Clear Film: Allows for perfect alignment of your design on the garment.
How to Use:
- Print, contour-cut, and weed your Printable HTV design.
- Apply the Application Tape over the top of the design and squeegee firmly.
- Peel the tape up—the vinyl design will lift with it.
- Place onto the garment and press.
- Peel the application tape off (usually while warm/cold).
