Tools for Daily Printer Care
A clean printer is a working printer. Ink mist and dust can build up on your printhead and capping station, leading to nozzle clogs and expensive repairs. Using the correct tools prevents this.
Essential Tools We Stock:
- Foam Cleaning Swabs: These are NOT cotton buds (cotton leaves lint that clogs heads). Our swabs are made from lint-free foam, designed to safely clean the delicate nozzle plate and capping station.
- Ink Syringes: Essential for priming dampers, flushing printheads, or pulling waste ink through lines.
- Rail Grease: Keep your carriage moving smoothly to prevent "banding" and motor strain.
Pro Tip: Never use paper towels or standard cotton buds on a printhead. Only use proper foam swabs.
